Injuries Reported in Newhall Accident on 14 Freeway and Newhall Avenue

 
NEWHALL, CA (February 16, 2021) – Monday afternoon, a person suffered injuries in a motorcycle crash on 14 Freeway and Newhall Avenue.
 
The Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel came to the scene just after 4:00 p.m. Meanwhile, Fire Department Supervisor Melanie Flores revealed that it happened on the northbound side of 14 Freeway, south of Newhall Avenue.
 
“It was a report of a motorcycle down and one person transported (to the hospital),” Flores said.
 
Moreover, the California Highway Patrol revealed that it happened in the carpool and No. 1 lane of the freeway.
 
Because of the collision, the CHP officers closed the three lanes of the northbound freeway to clear the area. Thus, the traffic was stalled from Highway 126 to the Newhall Pass.
