1 Fatality in Buffalo Drive and Washington Avenue Car Crash
Las Vegas, NV (March 25, 2020) – A male pedestrian was killed in a fatal car crash on Buffalo Drive and Washington Avenue on the Wednesday evening of March 25.
Authorities responded to the crash scene at approximately 7:45 pm near the intersection of Buffalo Drive and Washington Avenue.
Metro Lt. Dustin Butler initially reported that the male pedestrian was walking in the travel lane outside the crosswalk, when a white Ford transit van traveling southbound approached Summerlin Parkway before knocking him over.
The male pedestrian, identified only as a “white male adult,” was pronounced deceased at the scene.
No further information is available at this moment.
Meanwhile, the driver reported no signs of impairment at the time of the accident. More so, he remained at the crash scene and cooperated with the officers.
Furthermore, the Nevada Highway Patrol is taking over to investigate the incident.
