1 Pedestrian Injured in Accident on Palm Drive and Hacienda Avenue [Desert Hot Springs, CA]

Jogger Hit By Car in Desert Hot Springs Intersection

Desert Hot Springs, CA (August 27, 2020) – On Wednesday afternoon, a jogger sustained heavy injuries in an accident on the intersection of Palm Drive and Hacienda Avenue.

Moreover, the Desert Hot Springs Police Department’s official report says the incident happened at around 1:23 p.m.

According to the report, the jogger ran westbound on Hacienda Avenue “outside of a marked crosswalk” when a Nissan Altima hit the jogger.

An 85-year-old motorist struck the individual in their Nissan that traveled on the same street and direction.

Consequently, the rescuers took the pedestrian to a nearby hospital. Moreover, police said that the jogger did in fact sustained major injuries.
