1 Person Severely Injured After Watsonville Crash on Salinas Road Off-Ramp to Highway 1

Watsonville, CA (June 05, 2020) – One person is hospitalized after a vehicle crash Tuesday night on the Salinas Road off-ramp to northbound Highway 1 in Watsonville.

Furthermore, the collision involved a white Toyota Tundra and a Nissan Versa, according to CHP official logs.

A motorist sustained heavy wounds, and the paramedics promptly gave immediate attention.

They then sent the victim to Natividad Medical Center. Meanwhile, the CHP is still investigating the cause of the crash.

Specifically, thousands of people across California suffer injuries in traffic accidents every year. Although it is common, many people do not suspect what follows in the event of a car crash.

Therefore, safety on the road should be the number one priority for anyone on it. Above all, it is better to be a proactive driver, rather than a reactive one. For this purpose, driving defensively prepares you for emergency situations.

Activities that take drivers’ attention off the road includes using mobile phones, eating, and other distractions, which are a major safety threat. Ultimately, avoid these activities at all costs when in the driver’s seat.
