1 Man Killed in Two-Car Crash at Hegenberger Road [Oakland, CA]

Driver Killed in Oakland Car Accident near Hamilton Street

 
OAKLAND, CA (February 10, 2020) — An Oakland man was killed Saturday night in a two-car crash on Hegenberger Road and Hamilton Street.
 
The devastating crash took place around 9:24 p.m., near Hamilton Street. However, the events leading up to the crash are currently unclear.
 
Authorities say a man driving a northbound Honda on Hegenberger Road collided with an eastbound Infiniti.
 
As a result of the impact, the 24-year-old male driver of the Honda died on scene. The 19-year-old woman piloting the Infiniti suffered severe injuries. Both drivers were the sole occupants of their vehicles.
 
As of now, an investigation to determine further details remains ongoing. However, police ruled out impairment as a contributing source.
