Fatality Reported in North Highland Multi-Vehicle Crash on Watt Avenue

 
NORTH HIGHLANDS, CA (October 29, 2020) – Wednesday, a person died and another suffered injuries in an accident on Watt Avenue and Myrtle Avenue.
 
According to the CHP, a pursuit began after a traffic stop on Auburn Boulevard. However, an Audi driver escaped.
 
As the Audi entered Watt Avenue and Myrtle Avenue intersection, the crash occurred. At about 1:20 a.m., the Audi struck two other vehicles and spun about 100 yards. As a result, the passenger and driver of the Audi were thrown off.
 
The passenger suffered fatal injuries at the crash scene. Meanwhile, responders transported the driver to the hospital with severe injuries.
 
Furthermore, the occupants in the other two vehicles sustained minor injuries.
 
By 4:30 a.m., the road has since reopened.
