Three Injured in I-10 Deadly Crash

Whitewater, CA (February 7, 2025) – A person was killed and others were injured following a wrong-way crash on Interstate 10 early Friday morning.

The fatal crash happened around 2:30 a.m. near the Whitewater Rest Area.

Troopers said a westbound sedan was traveling in the eastbound lanes and caused the collision.

According to the investigators, three people were injured. Two of the patients incurred major injuries and were taken to Desert Regional Medical Hospital. 

Police closed the eastbound lanes while they investigated.
