Apple Valley Woman Dead in Crash on Seaforth Street in Hesperia

Hesperia, CA (February 28, 2025) – A fatal crash on Seaforth Street late Thursday night in Hesperia claimed the life of a 45-year-old Apple Valley woman.

The collision occurred around 11 p.m. on February 27 at the intersection of Seaforth Street and Newhall Avenue.

According to Gloria Orejel, Public Information Officer for the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the crash involved a blue Subaru sedan and a blue Ford pickup. 

The impact caused one of the vehicles to overturn, ejecting the driver.

Emergency responders attempted to save the Apple Valley woman, but she died at the scene. 

Authorities confirmed that she had been driving the pickup truck.

The second driver, a 47-year-old Hesperia woman, sustained injuries and was airlifted to a trauma center for medical treatment. 

Officials confirmed that no other passengers were in either vehicle at the time of the crash.

Authorities have not yet released the deceased driver’s identity, as her next of kin has not been notified.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department continues to investigate the cause of the crash and plans to release additional details as the investigation progresses.
