Deadly Two-Vehicle Collision on U.S 95 Leads to Road Closure
Nye County, CA (June 11, 2020)– On Wednesday, one fatality was reported in an overnight two-vehicle crash on U.S 95 near Mile Marker 10.
The incident happened on June 10 around 3:30 a.m. on U.S 95 near Pahrump.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, one person, who is currently unidentified, was killed from the crash. In addition, it is still unclear what caused the tragic crash.
U.S. 95 south and S.R. 160 north at the Mercury turnoff was closed for the traffic temporarily. Nye County deputies said there was no immediate update for when the road shall re-open.
Towing services were requested in the area due to the extent of damage sustained.
