Fatalities Reported in Agua Dulce Accident on Escondido Canyon Road and 14 Freeway

 
AGUA DULCE, CA (July 22, 2021) – Wednesday afternoon, a person suffered fatal injuries in a traffic crash on Escondido Canyon Road and 14 Freeway.
 
The incident occurred at about 3:52 p.m. in the 8000 block of Escondido Canyon Road near 14 Freeway. According to reports, the traffic crash possibly ejected a person from a vehicle.
 
“The call came in as a rollover into an embankment with two patients injured. One male and one female,” revealed Jonathan Matheny with the LA County Fire Department.
 
When the first responders arrived, they requested a helicopter to transport one patient to a local trauma center. Meanwhile, an ambulance took another patient to the same trauma center.
 
However, by 8:39 p.m., one person succumbed to her injuries.
