1 Dead and 1 Injured in Arlington Multi-Vehicle Accident on S Center Street

ARLINGTON, TX (February 6, 2023) – Saturday night, a person died in a three-vehicle crash on S Center Street.

The incident happened at about 6:30 p.m. in the 4000 block of S Center Street.

According to reports, the crash involved three vehicles.

Upon the officers’ arrival, they pulled two young men from a 2021 Ford Mustang that had caught fire.

Then, responders took both of them to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

However, the 20-year-old Mustang passenger later succumbed to his injuries. Meanwhile, the 18-year-old male driver remained in critical condition.

Officers said that the two men traveled north along S Center Street. Then, the driver of the Mustang tried to switch lanes and lost control.

Eventually, the teenage driver drove over the center median and into the southbound lanes. Then, it crashed with a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado and a 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer.

At this time, the authorities haven’t ruled out speed as a factor in the crash.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

We want to send our sincere sympathies to the bereaved family and friends of the victim of the crash on S Center Street.
