1 Dead in Las Vegas Pedestrian Crash

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (December 18, 2019) – A person died in a pedestrian crash on Jones Boulevard on December 14.
 
The incident occurred about 6:12 p.m. on South Jones Boulevard, just south of West Robindale Road.
 
Witnesses revealed that a southbound 2010 Mercedes Benz GLK350 on Jones Boulevard south of W. Robindale Road. Meanwhile, a pedestrian walked south on Robindale Road, trying to walk across S. Jones Boulevard from east to west, outside of a marked crosswalk.
 
A Mercedes Benz struck the pedestrian. Upon the medics’ arrival, they located the pedestrian and took the person to UMC Trauma in critical condition. Unfortunately, the pedestrian died a short time later.
 
Meanwhile, the driver stayed at the crash scene and didn’t suffer from impairment.
 
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Collision Investigation Section is still investigating the crash.
