Fatality Reported in San Diego Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 15 and Mira Mesa Boulevard

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (August 3, 2021) – Sunday afternoon, a person died in a pedestrian crash on Interstate 15 and Mira Mesa Boulevard.
 
The incident happened at 3:39 p.m. on an on-ramp to Interstate 15, eastbound Mira Mesa Boulevard on-ramp.
 
Witness Brad Kvedris said that as he drove north on the 15, he spotted several cars stopped near the on-ramp.
 
“I got there a minute or two after the accident must have happened and just as a CHP motorcycle officer pulled up,” Kvedris revealed. “I saw a woman laying on her back, seemingly unresponsive and there was someone there pumping on her chest, giving her CPR.”
 
Meanwhile, the CHP log confirmed that the victim was a pedestrian. However, they haven’t clarified whether the authorities made an arrest.
 
More details about the victim remain undisclosed.
