SAN DIEGO, CA (January 8, 2020) – An unidentified victim was killed in a pedestrian accident on Highway 163 early Tuesday morning.
 
The incident happened around 3:00 a.m., near the Balboa Avenue off-ramp. First responders arrived to the northbound lanes on Highway 163.
 
Due to the impact of the collision, the pedestrian was pronounced dead on scene. Additional information about the victim and the driver of the vehicle remains unavailable as of this time.
 
The CHP is currently handling the investigation.
