1 Dead in La Mesa Crash on 8 Freeway

 
LA MESA, CA (September 14, 2020) – Friday night, a person died in a motorcycle accident on 8 Freeway in La Mesa.
 
The incident happened just before 10:00 p.m. on westbound 8 Freeway near the Severin and Fuerte drives exit. Furthermore, the crash happened at the transition ramps to Highway 125.
 
The CHP revealed that a vehicle, probably a motorcycle, traveled erratically before it crashed into the wall dividing eastbound and westbound freeway lanes.
 
According to the CHP, another vehicle was involved in the crash.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities announced around midnight that the crash led to a fatality. At this time, it’s unclear if anyone suffered injuries in the crash.
 
Meanwhile, the area and left lanes of the freeway were closed until early Saturday morning.
