At Least 1 Killed in S Sam Houston Parkway Collision [Houston, TX]

Houston, TX (February 1, 2025) – At least one person was killed following a S Sam Houston Parkway collision Friday.

The fatal multi-vehicle crash happened on 11400 South Sam Houston Parkway near Sabo Road in Southeast Houston.

Responding officers located four vehicles when they arrived at the scene.

They learned that an 18-wheeler flatbed truck drove through the area striking all four vehicles and fled the scene.

The authorities declared one man deceased at the scene. 

Rescuers transported a woman in critical condition while another adult was transported in stable condition. The paramedics also transported a 7-year-old with minor injuries. 

Police are searching for the driver and the vehicle that fled the scene. They are working to get surveillance video from the surrounding businesses to get a better description of the 18-wheeler flatbed truck. 

Meanwhile, investigators are asking anyone who sees a flatbed truck with a lot of damage to call 911 or Crime Stoppers as soon as possible.
