1 Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 15 [Baker, CA]

Baker, CA (March 13, 2025) – A person was killed following a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 Wednesday night.

The fatal collision happened before 10 p.m. on March 12 north of Kelbaker Road. Officers said a semi-truck pulling an Amazon trailer, a pickup truck, and a passenger car were involved in the collision.

CHP said a driver was traveling south in the highway’s northbound lanes. The wrong-way driver struck a vehicle in the fast lane and then collided with other vehicles.

Sadly, one person was killed at the scene. The authorities withheld the identity of the deceased.

The rescuers freed another person from being trapped in their vehicle. 

Another person involved was not hurt in the collision.

Moreover, troopers are investigating the cause of the wrong-way driving.
