1 Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on 605 Freeway [Whittier, CA]

Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash on 605 Freeway near Peck Road

 
WHITTIER, CA (October 26, 2019) – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on 605 Freeway, Saturday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 5:00 AM. Due to unknown reasons, at least five vehicles collided just south of Peck Road.
 
Emergency responders pronounced one victim dead at the scene. Authorities withheld the identity of the victim, pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, it is unknown whether or not other injuries were sustained in the crash.
 
The CHP continues to investigate the cause of the fatal collision. Those who wish to cooperate should call the authorities as soon as possible. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
