1 Dead in Eagleville Auto Accident on US 69 Highway

EAGLEVILLE, MO (February 2, 2025) – Friday night, a person died in a brutal head-on crash on US 69 Highway.

The incident occurred just before 5:00 p.m. on US 69 Highway, just two miles south of Eagleville, Missouri.

The crash caused traffic disruptions and trapped a victim inside a vehicle. Bakersfield firefighters worked to free the person, placing them onto a stretcher with paramedics.

A gray car sustained damage to the driver’s side, while the semi-truck had visible damage to its front left fender. Fire crews had to cut off the driver’s door to extricate the victim, according to BFD Battalion Chief Alexander Clark.

The Bakersfield Police Department also responded to the scene. Clark reported that the victims sustained minor to moderate injuries.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
