1 Person Killed in Brutal Head-On Crash on Missouri 32 and Missouri 245 [Cedar County, MO]

1 Dead in Cedar County Auto Accident on Missouri 32 and Missouri 245

CEDAR COUNTY, MO (February 25, 2025) – Monday afternoon, a person died in a brutal head-on crash on Missouri 32 and Missouri 245.

The incident occurred at about 3:00 p.m. on Missouri 32 and Missouri 245 between Bearcreek and Fair Play.

A Buick Envision crossed the center line and collided head-on with a Chevrolet Blazer. 

A 64-year-old man died at the scene, while two people in the Chevrolet suffered serious injuries and were transported to a Springfield hospital. 

Two occupants of the Buick sustained moderate injuries and were also hospitalized. This marks MSPH Troop D’s 18th fatal crash of 2025.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
