West Valley, AZ (November 22, 2024) – A crash on State Route 85 near Baseline Road in the West Valley claimed one life, according to Arizona DPS officials.

The collision, involving two vehicles, occurred shortly after 3 p.m. 

Emergency responders pronounced one driver dead at the scene, while the other driver was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities have not yet released details about how the crash occurred.
