1 Dead in San Diego Pedestrian Crash near Ashford Street

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (July 20, 2020) – Early Sunday night, a person died in a hit-and-run accident near Ashford Street.
 
According to the San Diego Police, the crash happened at about 8:04 p.m. near 4117 Ashford Street. Afterward, the pedestrian succumbed to injuries at the scene.
 
The authorities described the suspect vehicle as a dark gray or black Dodge Ram pickup truck with overhead cab lights on its roof. Moreover, the car probably has right front side damage. It could also have paper plates, confirmed SDPD Officer John Buttle.
 
Moreover, reports said that the vehicle last headed north on Ashford Street towards Eckstrom Avenue.
