1 Killed in Fiery Crash on Highway 99 near Court Street [Visalia, CA]

Fatal Visalia Car Crash on Highway 99

 
VISALIA, CA (September 3, 2019) – A driver died in a fiery crash on Highway 99 on September 1.
 
According to reports, the man travelled north on Highway 99 near Court Street at about 3:37 a.m. However, he made an “unsafe turning movement to the right.
 
The GMC Sonoma then steered to the east of the highway and onto the shoulder, where it then struck a tree and caught fire.
 
The truck driver died at the scene, and his identity remains unreleased as of the moment.
 
Meanwhile, authorities are still investigating the cause of the collision.
 
According to investigators, the fire gutted the vehicle. However, police did not release any other information regarding the crash on Highway 99 at this time.
