1 Dead in Casa Grande Auto Accident on Signal Peak Road and State Route 287
CASA GRANDE, CA (January 19, 2023) – Monday afternoon, a person died in a crash on Signal Peak Road and State Route 287.
The incident occurred at 12:31 p.m. on Signal Park Road and State Route 287.
According to reports, a Kia sedan had stopped eastbound as it waited to turn onto northbound Signal Peak Road.
Moreover, a Lexus rear-ended the Kia and pushed the Kia into oncoming westbound traffic on State Route 287. Eventually, a GMC truck hit the Kia.
Officers confirmed that a Kia passenger died at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver of the Kia and another passenger in the Kia were transported to hospitals.
Furthermore, the authorities haven’t ruled out impairment as a factor in the crash.
Also, charges remained pending against the driver of the Lexus.
