1 Dead in Las Vegas Pedestrian Accident on Karen Avenue and Maryland Parkway
LAS VEGAS, NV (November 17, 2022) – Tuesday night, a person died in a pedestrian crash on Karen Avenue and Maryland Parkway.
The incident happened at about 5:56 p.m. on Karen Avenue and Maryland Parkway, just south of Sahara Avenue.
According to reports, a 2011 Mitsubishi Galant headed west on Karen Avenue. Then, it hit a man walking across the street outside of a marked crosswalk.
Afterward, the pedestrian succumbed to injuries at Sunrise Hospital.
Then, the driver of the Mitsubishi remained at the scene and did not show any signs of impairment.
Officers said that the incident was the 133rd traffic-related fatality in LVMPD’s jurisdiction for this year.
