GUADALUPE, AZ (November 14, 2022) – Sunday morning, a person died in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 near Guadalupe Road.
 
The incident occurred just before 12:30 p.m. on Interstate 10 near Guadalupe Road.
 
According to reports, an eastbound vehicle struck a DPS patrol vehicle that was working a car fire.
 
As a result, the DPS vehicle struck the other vehicle that was on fire. Meanwhile, the first vehicle went down the emergency lane. Also, it hit three people standing behind the vehicle involved in the car fire.
 
Then, responders took the trooper, the driver and passenger in the first vehicle, and the three pedestrians to the hospital for injuries.
 
However, the passenger later succumbed to injuries. Also, the person’s identity remained undisclosed due to pending family notification.
 
At this time, the cause of the crash remained unknown. Thus, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
