1 Dead in Fulshear Accident on FM 1093 and FM 359

 
FULSHEAR, TX (February 8, 2023) – Tuesday morning, a person died in a truck crash on FM 1093 and FM 359.
 
The incident happened at around 5:20 a.m. on FM 1093 and FM 359.
 
According to reports, the driver of an 18-wheeler failed to yield at a red light. Then, it collided with a truck in the Fulshear area.
 
Then, authorities shut down the eastbound lanes of FM 1093 and the northbound lanes of FM 359 (1463) have been shut down since.
 
Constable Chad Norvell revealed that the driver of a truck headed north on FM 359. At the same time, the semi headed east on FM 1093.
 
After the crash, the truck driver succumbed to injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the 18-wheeler driver sustained minor injuries.
 
Also, the incident struck power poles and a transformer. Hence, electricity has been knocked out in some neighborhoods.
 
The crash also knocked down traffic signals.
 
CenterPoint Energy responded that the crash needed extensive repair.
 
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
