RENO, NV (March 24, 2020) – A person died in a car accident on 4th Street on February 28 in Reno, Nevada.
 
The Reno Police Department is currently investigating the two-vehicle accident which occurred just after 5:30 p.m.
 
The RPD, Reno Fire, and REMSA all came to the crash scene to respond to the two-vehicle accident.
 
According to reports, the incident happened when two trucks were traveling east on 4th street. However, the driver at fault suddenly suffered a medical episode. As a result, the driver then rear-ended the truck in front of him.
 
Medical responders took the driver to the hospital where he later died. Moreover, reports from the authorities also stated that the deceased was an elderly male.
 
Meanwhile, authorities later found out that the driver who was struck was traveling while impaired. The said driver has been cooperative with the police.
 
The roads have since reopened.
