AVA, MO (March 19, 2025) – Monday night, a teenager died in a brutal vehicle crash on County Road 500.
The incident happened just before 7:00 p.m. on County Road 500, one mile west of town.
Reports indicate that a teenager from Ava was hit and killed after falling off the hood of a car.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 15-year-old was driving the vehicle.
Troopers have not released the victim’s identity. This marks Troop G’s seventh fatality in 2025, compared to two during the same period last year.
