MONTEREY COUNTY, CA (July 21, 2021) – Tuesday afternoon, a person died in a big rig crash on San Juan Road and Murphy Road.
 
According to reports, the crash involved a big rig and a small sedan. Moreover, it happened at about 4:50 p.m. on San Juan Road.
 
Meanwhile, a spokesperson from the CHP confirmed that one person died in the crash.
 
Due to the crash, officers diverted westbound traffic onto Murphy Road and eastbound traffic onto San Miguel Canyon Road. The crash shut down San Juan Road which has reopened by 8:00 p.m.
