Woman Dies in Boat Crash at Lake Camanche in Amador

 
Amador, CA (September 7, 2020) – Sunday evening, a woman died, and seven others, including two children sustained injuries when a boat hit land and crash at Lake Camanche.
 
The incident happened at around 9:20 p.m. on September 6.
 
As a result, two were airlifted to a nearby hospital and five people then transported by ambulance.
 
Meanwhile, the boat operator identified as 33-year-old Jose Manual Gil was confirmed to be intoxicated at the time of the crash.
 
At this time, Gil is facing for several charges, including manslaughter, boating under the influence and child cruelty.
