1 Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 3 and Highway 308 [Poulsbo, WA]

1 Dead in Poulsbo Auto Accident on Highway 3

 
POULSBO, WA (August 1, 2020) – Late Thursday morning, a person died in a 2-vehicle crash on Highway 3.
 
According to reports, the state troopers and medics came to the scene around 11:00 a.m. on Highway 3 and Highway 308 interchange.
 
Trooper Chelsea Hodgson of the State Patrol added that authorities found a damaged car and pickup. They found the vehicles on Highway 308 near the on-ramp to Highway 3. The driver of the vehicle died at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, the preliminary investigation revealed that the pickup driver tried to cross Highway 308 to drove back onto Highway 3. Unfortunately, the driver failed to stop as it drove east on Highway 308, crashing with it.
 
“Our hearts go out to the family and loved ones of all involved,” Hodgson said.
 
At this time, the authorities didn’t clarify whether the pickup driver suffered injuries or whether there are pending charges.
 
Moreover, the crash shut down one lane of Highway 398 during cleanup and investigation.
