One Person Dies after Two-Vehicle Crash on Perris and Cactus Avenue in Moreno Valley

Moreno Valley, CA (April 8, 2022) – Friday midday, one person died and two others sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Perris and Cactus Avenue.

The fatal crash in Moreno Valley happened on April 8.

A witness described the incident as a wrong-way pursuit. He said he saw Riverside County sheriff’s deputies in patrol cars and in a helicopter following a white Toyota. The Toyota was headed north in the southbound lane.

Moreover, the Toyota was speeding and the deputies were following slower. Then the Toyota and a black pickup crashed and hit a cinder-block wall about a mile and a half to the north at Perris and Cactus Avenue.

One person died and two others sustained injuries from the crash.

No other information is immediately available.
