Earlimart Man Dies in Delano Crash on County Line Road, 2 Others Injured

 
DELANO, CA (November 06, 2019) — A crash on County Line Road in Delano left a man dead and two others injured on Saturday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at around 10:45 p.m. east of Hiett Avenue. Involved were two vehicles.
 
A 22-year-old Earlimart man was driving a 2014 Chevrolet westbound on County Line Road. Approaching Hiett Avenue, the vehicle veered to the left and then collided with an eastbound 1999 Toyota.
 
The 22-year-old man died in the crash. On the other hand, the driver of the Toyota and a passenger sustained minor to moderate injuries. They were both transported to Kern Medical Center for treatment. Both are 17 years old.
 
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
