1 Dead and 2 Hurt in Seattle Car Crash

 
SEATTLE, WA (January 21, 2020) – A person died while two others sustained severe injuries in a car crash on Rainier Avenue on January 18.
 
The two-car crash occurred before 3:00 a.m. on Rainier Avenue South and South Massachusetts Street.
 
When the officers arrived, they pronounced one man deceased at the scene. Meanwhile, responders took a 46-year-old man and a 25-year-old man, who occupied opposite cars, to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
 
Authorities shut down the road during the investigation but have since reopened.
 
The crash remains under active investigation.
