Police Investigate a Fatal Crash on State Route 51 in Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ (December 24, 2021) – Friday night, one person died and several others including a pregnant woman and an infant are in critical condition after a crash on State Route 51.

The fatal crash in Phoenix happened at around 7:45 p.m. on December 24 on SR 51 northbound near Union Hills Drive.

The Phoenix Fire Department said the collision involved several vehicles.

As a result, one person died at the scene. 

EMS transported a pregnant woman in her 20s, an infant, and a male in his 30s to the hospital in critical condition.

Police are still investigating what led to the crash.
