Male Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Crash near State Route 74 in Anza
Anza, CA (April 16, 2020) – Wednesday afternoon, one unidentified man was killed while another sustained injuries in a motorcycle collision on Highway 371.
CHP first received reports around 3:00 p.m., on April 15. Emergency personnel arrived near Burnt Valley Road, about a mile west of SR 74.
However, the events leading to the collision remain unspecified. Moreover, CHP hasn’t disclosed the identities of the parties involved.
First responders immediately located a motorcycle and a car upon arrival. Authorities then confirmed one man dead on scene while another victim was transported to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar for further treatment.
The surrounding area on Highway 371 was closed off for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. However, the roadway has since reopened.
At this time, an investigation to determine further details remains on-going. Once available, more details will be released.
