1 Dead and 1 Hospitalized after Victorville Car Accident

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (April 2, 2019) – A person died while another sustained non-life threatening injuries after a car collision in front of the prison.
 
The incident occurred at around 11:10 p.m., March 30, 2019, east of George Boulevard in Victorville.
 
The scanner traffic revealed that the CHP came five minutes after the report. After that, CHP verified that one person died while another needed a possible extrication.
 
Meanwhile, the firefighters with the Victorville City Fire Department all came to the scene. As a result, they found two vehicles with significant damage blocking the road.
 
Authorities transported a second person with non-life-threatening injuries to a local hospital. In addition, they clarified that they did not administer any extrication.
 
Due to the crash, Air Expressway stayed close between George Boulevard and Phantom East for multiple hours.
 
The Sheriff’s Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) will investigate the area and identify the cause of the collision.
