1 Dead and 1 Injured in Oro Grande Accident near Bryman Road

 
ORO GRANDE, CA (August 3, 2020) – Early Sunday morning, a driver died and another person was airlifted after crash on National Trails Highway.
 
The two-car accident occurred on August 2nd, just before 6:00 a.m. National Trails Highway near Bryman Road. According to California Highway Patrol reports, the incident trapped a female inside of an SUV.
 
Upon the arrival of the first responders, they found a brown 2018 Toyota Highlander on the shoulder. They also discovered an overturned 1991 Honda Civic in the middle of the roadway.
 
Moreover, firefighters declared the Honda driver dead at the scene. They also said that they need extrication for the trapped Toyota occupant.
 
The authorities requested helicopter REACH-43 to transported the patient to a trauma center.
 
Meanwhile, authorities shut down National Trails Highway in both directions while CHP officers investigate the incident.
