CHP Investigate a Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 10 near Chiriaco Summit

Chiriaco Summit, CA (June 4, 2021) – Friday morning, one person sustained injuries after a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 10.

The Chiriaco Summit crash happened at about 8:30 a.m. on June 4, on the westbound 10 near Cottonwood Springs Road, about 25 miles east of Indio.

The California Highway Patrol said the crash involved a Scion sedan and a Jeep. At least one motorist suffered minor injuries.

However, it was unclear whether anybody was hospitalized.

No other information is immediately released.

Further investigation is ongoing to determine what caused this Interstate 10 crash.
