Tirso Dejose Luis Rojas Arrested after DUI Crash near Rivendell Lane
PARADISE, CA (February 14, 2019) – A driver was injured late Thursday afternoon following a two-vehicle collision on Neal Road. The identity of the victim was not immediately disclosed to the public.
According to the Paradise Police Department, the incident happened at about 4:09 PM. A Ford F250 pickup slowed to turn onto Rivendell Lane when it was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by 41-year-old Tirso Dejose Luis Rojas.
The driver of the Ford pickup suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene by emergency responders. Meanwhile, Rojas was arrested for felony DUI after causing injuries with a blood-alcohol content of over .08 percent and was booked into the Butte County Jail.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the collision and to identify other possible contributing factors. Additional information will be released once it becomes available.
