LAS VEGAS, NV (September 12, 2019) – A 42-year-old man sustained injuries in a truck and motorcycle collision on Decatur Boulevard.
 
The collision between a 2006 Freightliner box truck and a 2015 Harley Davidson motorcycle occurred around 2:30 p.m. on September 9. The incident took place on Decatur Boulevard and Post Road.
 
According to the police, as the truck turned left from Decatur to head west on Post, the motorcyclist drove through a red light into the intersection. The truck then struck the motorcycle’s front.
 
Authorities do not believe that the 30-year-old male truck driver suffered impairment during the crash. The driver stayed at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, responders transported the motorcyclist to University Medical Center.
 
Authorities shut down the intersection during the investigation.
