PLACER COUNTY, CA (January 12, 2023) – Wednesday morning, a person suffered injuries in a propane truck crash on Interstate 80 near Alta.
 
The incident happened just before 9:40 a.m. on Interstate 80 near Alta. According to reports, the crash involved a propane truck and a Subaru XC.
 
When the crews arrived, they found a 2,000-gallon propane truck with significant front-end damage. Reports confirmed that the truck was actively leaking about five to 10 gallons of propane a minute.
