1 Injured in Rollover Crash on 91 Freeway and Central Avenue [Riverside, CA]

Person Hurt in Riverside Multi-Vehicle Accident on 91 Freeway

 
RIVERSIDE, CA (October 15, 2020) – Wednesday morning, a rollover crash injured a person on 91 Freeway and Central Avenue in Riverside.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at around 10:40 a.m. It took place on the eastbound 91 Freeway at Central Avenue in Riverside.
 
CHP revealed that a white pickup truck rolled over after losing control. Then, the vehicle came to rest on its driver’s side.
 
Authorities said that the pickup struck a Ford Escape SUV and a Ford Mustang,
 
The driver extricated himself from the wrecked pickup. Meanwhile, the responders from Riverside Fire Department crews transported the motorist to Riverside Community Hospital after suffering minor to moderate injuries.
 
Furthermore, the pickup and the Ford Escape both sustained major front-end damage. Thus, the towing service removed both vehicles from the scene. Meanwhile, the Mustang only suffered minor damages.
 
Caltrans crews closed the HOV AND No. 1 lanes to clear debris from the crash.
 
The CHP continues to investigate the crash.
