55-Year-Old Female Injured in Pedestrian Crash near Peachland Avenue in Newhall

 
NEWHALL, CA (March 20, 2020) – Monday morning, an unidentified 55-year-old woman sustained injuries in a pedestrian crash on Lyons Avenue.
 
Officers received reports of the collision around 7:55 a.m. CHP responded to the scene at the Lyons and Peachland Avenue intersection.
 
The female pedestrian was walking in the area when a late model Hyundai struck her. The Hyundai driver was allegedly looking for a parking spot at the time.
 
Due to the impact, the woman sustained serious injuries and was later taken to the hospital. There has been no update on her current condition.
 
At this time, the crash still remains under investigation to identify its cause.
