Injuries Reported in Eureka Pedestrian Crash on 4th Street and L Street

 
EUREKA, CA (December 17, 2020) – Tuesday afternoon, a person suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on 4th Street and L Street.
 
The incident happened around 5:17 p.m. near the intersection of 4th Street and L Street.
 
Furthermore, an officer revealed that he was “out with one down in the roadway.
 
Moreover, the crash shut down the left two lanes of 4th Street.
 
By 5:31, witnesses revealed that the victim was using a walker and has suffered major injuries with trauma to their lower leg.
 
Also, reports confirmed that the victim wore black at the time of the crash. Moreover, the pedestrian was almost to the curb after crossing 4th Street at an unmarked intersection to the southwest corner of the street.
 
Meanwhile, after the crash, the involved driver immediately stopped, put on their hazards, and gave a blanket to the victim. The white sedan driver also waited for law enforcement.
