LAS VEGAS, NV (December 1, 2020) – Monday morning, a person suffered critical injuries in a crash on Flamingo Road and Rainbow Boulevard.
According to Las Vegas Metropolitan police, the incident near the intersection of W. Flamingo Road and S. Rainbow Boulevard happened at around 8:08 a.m.
Reports revealed that a westbound vehicle driven by a 22-year-old, with a 12-year-old passenger veered off the roadway after a vehicle driven by a 56-year-old driver came to the first vehicle’s path while trying to make a left turn.
The westbound vehicle struck a concrete wall on the northwest corner of the intersection. Meanwhile, the 56-year-old vehicle spun around, veered off the roadway. Then, it crashed into a concrete wall.
Responders transported the 22-year-old driver and the 12-year-old passenger to University Medical Center after sustaining minor injuries. The 56-year-old driver sustained critical injuries.

What’s Next after Multi-Vehicle Crash
As common of an occurrence as they are, many people do not suspect what follows in the event of a multi-vehicle crash.
When driving, scan the road 1/2 mile to a full mile ahead to check whether there’s a possible hazard. Our bodies weren’t designed to travel at 50mph. Also, we were designed for speeds of less than 10mph. Thus, you need to learn to consciously break that instinct and focus farther ahead
