Joshua Cook Arrested after Accident on Sierra Avenue and Marygold Avenue [Fontana, CA]

1 Hurt and 1 Detained in Fontana Multi-Vehicle Accident on Sierra Avenue

 
FONTANA, CA (September 9, 2019) – A driver sustained injuries while authorities arrested a man following a multi-vehicle crash on Sierra Avenue.
 
The incident involving a suspect in a stolen truck occurred on September 4 at around 10:00 a.m. Officer Daniel Romero revealed that they received a 911 call about a person who stole a commercial truck.
 
While officers headed to the scene, they received reports of a multi-vehicle accident on Sierra Avenue and Marygold Avenue.
 
Romero added that the suspect of the stolen truck crashed on the Honda’s rear. The impact sent the Honda into a traffic signal and another vehicle.
 
The truck then drove over the center divider across northbound lanes and hit a fence in the parking lot of Kaiser Hospital.
 
Authorities arrested the suspect, 34-year-old Joshua Cook and took him to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. He was admitted for a preexisting medical condition.
 
However, the Honda driver sustained moderate injuries and went to Kaiser Hospital for treatment.
