Police Investigate Rollover Crash on Southbound Highway 99 in Bakersfield

Bakersfield, CA (February 20, 2025) – A rollover crash on southbound Highway 99 Thursday afternoon sent at least one person to the hospital. 

The accident happened just north of White Lane on the southbound side.

Emergency crews from the California Highway Patrol (CHP) and Bakersfield Fire Department arrived at the scene shortly before 3:30 p.m. 

According to the CHP website, at least one person was trapped inside a vehicle, and reports indicate that two other vehicles were also involved in the crash.

Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the rollover. The crash temporarily blocked the freeway, but officials have since cleared the area.
