APD Investigates Crash on Central Avenue NE in Albuquerque

Albuquerque, NM (April 10, 2025) – One person sustained injuries in a rollover crash on Central Avenue NE.

Just after 7:30 PM, a white pickup truck rolled over at the intersection of Central Avenue NE and Eubank Boulevard NE, allegedly striking a traffic signal. 

The Albuquerque Police Department and Albuquerque Fire Rescue responded to the crash.

A witness saw one person exit the overturned truck. When emergency responders arrived, they found at least one injured individual, though the person’s condition remains unknown.

Authorities temporarily closed parts of the intersection. The pickup truck blocked the far right lane of eastbound Central Avenue, while southbound Eubank Boulevard remained closed due to the fallen traffic signal.

At 9:34 PM, a concerned individual reported that the intersection was still affected. All traffic lights remained out, and a knocked-down light pole continued to obstruct the roadway. 

Officials have not yet confirmed when repairs will be completed. Drivers are advised to avoid the area.
